| | Jeffrey joined Gunderson, Palmer, Nelson & Ashmore, LLP in 2007 after completing a year clerkship with the United States District Court in Rapid City. During his clerkship, Jeffrey served as a Pro Se Law Clerk to Chief Judge Karen E. Schreier and as a Law Clerk to Senior Judge Andrew W. Bogue. Jeffrey is a trial attorney. He is experienced in civil litigation, as well as felony criminal defense in both state and federal court.
Jeffrey earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Prior to attending law school, Jeffrey worked in retail management in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Jeffrey graduated from the University of South Dakota School of Law in 2006. While in law school, he completed a summer externship with the Land Tenure Center at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and served on the Board of Editors of the South Dakota Law Review.
Jeffrey is licensed to practice law in South Dakota, Minnesota, Nebraska and several tribal courts. He has been a Special Prosecutor to the Rosebud Sioux Tribe. He is also the President of the Pennington County Bar Association and a representative to the Young Lawyers Division of the South Dakota State Bar.
